John Mai

John Mai has a diverse work experience in various technical roles. John started their career at Restoration Media in 2015 as an Email Operations Business Analyst, where they focused on optimizing email campaigns and driving user engagement. In 2018, they joined Ytel as a Technical Project Manager, where they successfully managed and maintained SaaS/PaaS products and improved system performance. Currently, they are working at ShiftPixy as a Technical Program Manager. In this role, they serve as a project manager for web and mobile applications, consulting on workflows, and implementing process improvements for an enhanced user experience. John has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills throughout their career, consistently striving for scalability, efficiency, and quality in their work.

John Mai earned a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from California State University, Fullerton, which they attended from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from UC Irvine, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their degrees, they obtained a certification as a Professional Scrum Master (PSM-I) from Scrum.org in May 2020.
