Steve Swanson

Steve Swanson's work experience begins in 1999 at Automatic Response Technologies, where they worked as a Software Developer and Systems/Network Administrator. During their time there, they architected and developed a full site redesign, utilizing technologies such as C#, ASP.NET MVC, Razor, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Microsoft SQL Server, and IIS.

In 2012, Steve joined Entellagents as a Software Engineer, specializing in .NET C#. Steve worked there until 2014.

From 2014 to 2020, Steve worked at Cie as a .NET Developer and later as a Senior .NET Developer. In these positions, they led the adoption and configuration of the company's first CI/CD pipeline and developed public facing applications for enterprise clients and internal startups. Steve also configured and maintained AWS and Azure PaaS offerings and maintained and expanded websites for multiple legacy clients.

In 2016, Steve joined BuzzTech as a Lead Software Engineer, where they continue to work to the present day.

Lastly, in 2020, Steve took on a new role as the Lead Backend Developer at ShiftPixy. More recently, they have been promoted to the position of Director of Engineering.

Steve Swanson attended San Clemente High School from 1994 to 1998. Steve did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during their time there.

In 2013, Steve Swanson attended Integrated Digital Technologies (IDT) and obtained multiple certifications from Microsoft. Steve earned the Microsoft Certified Professional Developer - Web Developer 4 and the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist - Windows Applications, Web Applications, Data Access, and Service Communication Applications. Steve obtained these certifications in May and April of 2013.
