Avi Porat

Avi Porat is a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer with over 13 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently with Shikun & Binui since December 2010, Avi manages the operations and maintenance of a significant portfolio of over 30MW across 200 photovoltaic solar facilities, overseeing contracts, quality control, and site safety. Prior experience includes a role at ATHELOS/COGENRA SOLAR from October 2007 to December 2010, where Avi led the electrical and control systems design for Concentrated Photovoltaic systems, focusing on system development and customer specifications. Avi holds an Engineer’s Degree from the Holon Institute of Technology, completed between 1991 and 1996.
