Sean Murphy

Sean Murphy currently serves as the Head of Platform & Talent at Shima Capital, a prominent early-stage venture capital firm focused on disruptive blockchain companies. Prior to this role, Sean held various positions in talent acquisition and business development, including Head of Talent at TalentHerder and Crypto Talent Partner at a stealth company. Experience also includes significant roles at Cornerstone OnDemand, where Sean was a Senior Corporate Account Developer, and Workbridge Associates as a Technical Recruiter. Earlier positions include Operations Manager and Beach Crew/Tour Guide at San Diego Bike & Kayak Tours. Sean holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Studies from the University of San Diego and is a nationally certified EMT Paramedic.
