Steven van Niekerk is currently the Head of AI Engineering at Shimmr AI, where Steven integrates AI and Systems. Steven is also the Co-Founder of Bitsmiths (Pty) Ltd, a company focused on boutique software solutions, automation, and integration. In the past, Steven has held roles such as Chief Technology Officer at ProQuo AI and has extensive experience in software development, architecture, and technical leadership within the banking and technology industries. Steven has a Computer Science Diploma from CTI Education Group.
