Niels de Winter

Niels de Winter is an experienced maintenance technician with a strong background in the chemical industry. Currently employed at Shin-Etsu PVC B.V. as a VCM - Maintenance Plant Technicus since April 2024, Niels previously worked at Huntsman - EMA from September 2021 to March 2024, where roles included Allround Maintenance Technician/Mechanical Supervisor and Area Supervisor for various turnaround projects. Prior to Huntsman, Niels held multiple positions at Shell from October 2016 to July 2021, ranging from Maintenance Technician to Supervisor, overseeing maintenance operations on static equipment and leading teams during turnarounds. Niels holds a Post Bachelor's degree in Maintenance Management from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and has completed various courses in leadership and mechanical maintenance.
