Gabrielle Aldridge has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Gabrielle started their career as a Sales Associate at Nordstrom in 2012, where they assisted customers and provided fashion advice. In 2013, they showcased their designs in the Apparel and Textile Design Fashion Show and was selected as a Fashion Designer. Gabrielle also served as the Social Chair for the Michigan State Spartan Synchronized Skating team during the same period.

In 2014, Aldridge participated as a Fashion Designer in the ATD Fashion Show and received the Fan Favorite Award for their design "Coil." Gabrielle also worked as the Assistant Director of the ATD Fashion Show at Michigan State University, where they planned and organized the 2014 fashion show and created promotional materials using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

From 2015 to 2017, Aldridge worked as a Freelance Designer/Alterations specialist, creating original designs for various clients and designing costumes for a dance studio. Gabrielle also participated in the Fashion Institute of Technology-Associates Fashion Design Exhibition, where they were selected to represent their class with their design "Light and Shadows."

In 2015, Aldridge interned at Misha Nonoo as a Design Intern/Assistant Designer, collaborating with the design team to create the SS16 collection. Gabrielle assisted the head designer with researching inspiration, creating moodboards, and developing color cards.

Aldridge joined The Levy Group in 2016 as an Assistant Designer for their Private Label and Nautica Division, where they contributed to the entire collection process from concept to production. Gabrielle then transitioned to the role of Designer/Technical Designer, working closely with the creative director of Nautica to create technical sketches, instruct factories on fit comments, and ensure correct fabric and trims for Nautica Outerwear.

Since 2018, Aldridge has been working at Shinola. Gabrielle started as a Senior Manager of Product Design and Development, collaborating with the design team to develop luxury leather goods. Gabrielle managed day-to-day communication with vendors and reviewed samples at each phase of development. Gabrielle was later promoted to the role of Director of Product Development.

Gabrielle Aldridge has a diverse education history. Gabrielle started their academic journey at Seaholm High School from 2007 to 2011. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Management and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Apparel and Textile Design from Michigan State University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. In 2014 and 2015, they attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, earning an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Fashion Design. Later, in 2019, Gabrielle enrolled at the Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Business. In March 2020, they obtained a certification in Applications of Everyday Leadership from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
