Kim Jiyen

Kim Jiyen has a diverse work experience in various technical and quality roles. From 2023, they have been working as the Technical Director at Shinola, where they manage technical aspects of the company. Prior to that, they held the position of Technical & Quality department head at the same company from 2014 to 2023.

Before joining Shinola, they worked at UVW Ltd. from 2007 to 2014 as a Technical & Quality project manager, where they oversaw project management in the technical and quality departments. From 2002 to 2007, they served as an Engineering Project Manager at Precico, where they managed engineering projects.

Their career started at the Centre de développement des nouveaux produits du Swatch Group (CDNP) from 2000 to 2002, where they worked as a Mecanicien prototypiste, focusing on prototype mechanics.

Kim Jiyen's education history begins in 1994 when they attended Centre Professionel Tornos. They completed their studies in 1998 and obtained a CFC Mecanicien Machines Option CNC degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Following this, from 1998 to 2002, Kim Jiyen pursued an Engineer's Degree in Production Management at Ecole Technique Porrentruy. Their most recent educational experience took place in 2015 and 2016 at General Assembly, where they studied Data Analysis and earned a degree in the same field.
