Hugo Silveiro

Hugo Silveiro is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Shipamax, following its acquisition by WiseTech Global in 2022. Previously, Hugo served as a Data Scientist at Talkdesk, where participation in the development of a Minimum Viable Product for Agent Assist took place, alongside research to enhance speech-to-text systems. Hugo also held the position of Organizer for Meetup Coimbra with Data Science Portugal, contributing to the organization of local meetups and webinars. Early career experience includes a role as a Junior Software Engineer at CRITICAL Software, focusing on a natural language search analytics project, and as an R&D Intern, developing a platform for extracting knowledge from unstructured data. Hugo holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra.
