Chad Walz

Chad Walz is an accomplished professional in the field of engineering, currently serving as the Team Lead for Pipeline Integrity at Strathcona Resources Ltd. since January 2021, overseeing integrity programs for pipelines across Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. Prior to this role, Chad held significant positions including Team Lead for Asset Integrity at Cona Resources Ltd. and various engineering roles at Husky Energy, where responsibilities included managing facility projects and providing engineering support for oil and gas operations. Chad's extensive experience also includes leading plant reliability teams at Agrium and contributing to multiple engineering and maintenance projects. Chad holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and has completed additional education at API and NAIT.
