Michael Hein

Michael Hein has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Michael is currently working as the Director of Technical Support at ShipHawk since July 2022. Prior to this, from May 2021 to February 2022, they worked as the Director of Professional Services at Shipwell. From October 2017 to May 2021, they served as the Leader/Manager of Technical Implementations at XIFIN, Inc. Before that, they founded their own company, West Coast Cruisers, Incorporated, in January 2006 and served as the President and Founder until May 2020. Michael has also worked as the Director of Professional Services at Omnitracs from November 2013 to September 2017.

From 1995 to 2015, Michael worked at Qualcomm in various roles, including Director of Professional Services / Software Application Engineering, Director of Mobile Application Development, Director of Technical Support, and Senior Manager of Fleet Systems/Mobile Comm. Prior to Qualcomm, they worked as the Director of Fleet Systems at McCormick & Associates Inc. from April 1993 to September 1995, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Sorrento Cheese / Sorrento Express from February 1990 to April 1993. Michael began their career as a Senior Systems Engineer at Data Core Services Inc. in March 1986 and stayed with the company until February 1990.

Michael Hein attended Erie 1 BOCES from 1982 to 1984, where they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Data Processing.
