Mike Shea

Mike Shea has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mike currently serves as the Director of Professional Services at ShipHawk since February 2022. Prior to that, Mike worked at Körber Supply Chain as the Senior Director of Services from April 2019 to January 2022. Mike also held the position of Agile Project Manager and QA Director at WealthEngine from January 2011 to January 2018. Mike was an original member of the startup Satellite Tracking of People LLC from 2005 to 2011. Before entering the private sector, they served as a Lieutenant in the US Navy from May 1986 to May 1991. Mike's early career includes working as an Implementation Project Manager at MARC Global Services from 1997 to 2005.

Mike Shea earned their Bachelor's degree in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in International Relations at The George Washington University, attending from 1991 to 1992. In terms of additional certifications, Mike obtained a certification in Data Science and Machine Learning: Making Data-Driven Decisions from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in December 2021. Additionally, they became a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, acquiring this certification from the Project Management Institute in March 2018.
