Karen Cheung

Karen Cheung has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2018, they worked as an Intern Pharmacist and then transitioned to the role of Pharmacist at RITE AID. In 2021, they became a Clinical Pharmacist at Optum. The following year, in 2022, they joined Open Source and worked on various projects, including developing a crowdfunding platform and a job applications organization tool. Karen utilized React, Redux, and React Router, among other technologies, to build these applications. In 2022, they also joined SvelteStorm as a Software Engineer, where they developed an IDE for Svelte applications. Currently, Karen is an Associate Software Engineer at Shippabo, a position they started in 2023.

Karen Cheung has a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from UC San Diego. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pharmacological Chemistry at UC San Diego.
