Today Shippr is looking for our Head of Sales in Paris to join the adventure and help our Sales teams to hone their skills.

If you're passionate about sales strategy, implementing and following KPI's, developing new sales processes to optimize the daily life of Sharks, you're more than welcome !

You'll be tasked with the important role of Head of Sales Paris to help develop the market and implement Shippr as the go-to service for same-day delivery and last-mile logistics.

Your role is absolutely fundamental as you'll be looking to manage and ease the daily work of your sales teams by identifying new trends and areas of improvement to let them be the most effective possible.

Aside from closing high-stakes deals, you’ll be mainly tasked with honing their skills and define a learning path for them to be at their best. This job reports directly to the CEO and is all-about high-flying management to grow with the company and propose a new kind of service on the Paris market.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll be tasked with developping weekly/monthly/annual and seasonal sales targets for the department, examining growth opportunities, enabling sales improvements and taking responsability for the department’s performance against targets.
  • You’ll create forecasts and analyze KPI and chosen performance indicators to provide the CEO with.
  • You’ll play a mentorship role to key positions within the sales department, honing their professional skills
  • You’ll be taking charge of staffing the department in Paris by selecting and interviewing the candidates
  • Enforce the company culture in the brand new office in Paris (Opera)
  • You’ll evaluate your team’s skills and adjust their training and work cross-functionally to ensure successful onboardings of new colleagues.
  • You’ll be tasked with implementing sales strategies that further the department agenda and drives enhanced revenue generation for the business.
  • You’ll identify the roadmap that will lead to achievement of the department’s goals
  • You’ll create and implement sales action plans incorporating key actions to set the business’s KPI’s.
  • Implement and upgrade existing systems to track and follow up on sales leads using our Hubspot CRM
  • You’ll lead by example, showing your capacities in closing ICP deals and mastering the sales process.

Qualifications

  • Determined to make things happen
  • At least 10 years of sales experience with experience closing high stakes deals.
  • Experience in leading a sales team, able to connect with internal teammates, partners and your own team.
  • Adaptability to understand different seniorities and your team needs
  • Curiosity and capability of automating various time-consuming tasks
  • Data-minded enough to be able to manage Data-gathering and their meanings
  • Team leader with the ability to prioritize
  • Diplomat with good relationship-building
  • Knowledge of CRM's, Data Analytics platforms, Emailing automation, Business Inteligence tools,...
  • Knowledge of Sales Funnels and sales life-cycles
  • Master the consultative selling methodology and proven ability to sell value

What is the recruitment process like ?

  • You’ll then have a screening chat with our Head of HR (45min max)
  • You’ll then pass a online skills test (45 mix min.)
  • You’ll then pass a Hard-skills test and have an interview with the CEO
  • Finally you’ll have a discussion with our HR to check if Shippr might be a good fit for you and if you’ll be a good fit for us (1h max).
