Amit Bhardwaj

Amit Bhardwaj has extensive work experience in finance and operations. Amit currently holds the position of Vice President & Group Finance Controller at Shiprocket since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at CARS24 where they served as the Head Global Finance Operation from January 2020 to April 2021. Amit also held the role of Head Finance Operations (India) from March 2019 to December 2019 at CARS24.

Amit also has previous experience at OYO as an AVP Finance from April 2017 to April 2018, and as a Senior Director from April 2015 to March 2017. Amit worked at Snapdeal as the Director of Finance and Operations from April 2015 to July 2016.

Before joining Snapdeal, Amit had a successful tenure at Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd. where they worked as a Deputy General Manager from April 2014 to March 2015, Senior Manager Internal Audit from January 2013 to March 2014, Senior Finance Manager from April 2012 to March 2014, and Manager Transaction Services from October 2009 to March 2012. In their role as Manager Transaction Services, they were responsible for preparing, reporting, and analyzing financial and business data.

Amit's earlier work experience includes their time at GE Capital as an Area Credit Manager from May 2005 to August 2009. In this role, they were responsible for underwriting and managing retail, small and medium enterprise (SME) financing, as well as corporate debt restructuring and loan buyouts.

Amit Bhardwaj earned a degree in C.A. from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 2001 to 2004. From 2001 to 2005, they attended I P College and obtained a Master of Commerce degree in Chartered Accountant. Amit also pursued a degree in CMA-Inter from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. In 2013, they attended the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad for a Management degree in Strategic Leadership.
