Okan Tuna

Okan Tuna has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 1993, they were a Professor at Dokuz Eylul University Maritime Faculty. In 1999, they took on a Research Fellowship at the University of Plymouth. In 2007, they became a Visiting Professor at Maine Maritime Academy Loeb Sullivan School of International Business and Logistics. In 2015, they Co-Founded ShipsGo, a global container shipping platform developed by CNTR Inc. In 2017, they became a Coordinator at DETTO - Dokuz Eylul Teknoloji Transfer Ofisi. Finally, in 2018, they took on the role of Danışma Kurulu Üyesi at Trafipper.

Okan Tuna completed their education in the following order: they attended Ozel Turk Koleji from 1978 to 1985, earning a High School diploma and certificates; they then attended Ege University from 1985 to 1991, earning a degree in Food Engineering; and finally, they attended Istanbul University from 1995 to 1999, earning a Ph.D. in Marketing.
