Kris Taylor has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. They are currently employed as the VP of Technology at ShipSigma since April 2023. Prior to this, Kris worked at Heal as the Director of Engineering Logistics from August 2022 to April 2023.
Before that, Kris held various roles at Green Mountain Technology, starting as the Director of Business Intelligence from January 2013 to December 2017. They then served as the Director of IT from January 2018 to May 2019. Kris also held the position of Director of Software Engineering and Architecture from June 2019 to October 2021, and Director of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence from October 2021 to August 2022.
In their early career, Kris worked at FedEx Express as a Project Engineer from May 2007 to December 2012, and as an Industrial Engineering Consultant from May 2006 to May 2007. They also worked at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. as a Project Engineer from May 2004 to May 2006, Technicolor as a Process Engineer from September 2002 to May 2004, Hallmark Flowers as an Industrial Engineer from April 2001 to September 2002, and American Greetings as a Senior Engineer from June 2000 to April 2001 and as an Industrial Engineer from January 1999 to June 2000.
Kris Taylor began their education in 1993 at East Central Community College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts degree in Engineering. Kris then transferred to Mississippi State University in 1995 and completed their Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering in 1998. After gaining some working experience, Kris decided to further enhance their skills and knowledge in 2007 by pursuing a Master of Science degree in Engineering/Industrial Management at Christian Brothers University, which they successfully completed in 2009.
