Jean-Michel Michno

Jean-Michel Michno is a data science leader with extensive experience in building and optimizing data functions across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Head of Data at Veho, Jean-Michel is responsible for developing data science, analytics, and engineering capabilities while achieving a cost reduction in delivery through advanced optimization strategies. Previously, as Senior Director of Data Science at Shipt, Jean-Michel led a 32-person team focusing on logistics algorithms and established a network design and simulation team. Jean-Michel has held various roles in data science and management at companies like General Mills and C.H. Robinson, driving automation, implementing machine learning applications, and developing innovative solutions in bioinformatics throughout an academic career at the University of Minnesota. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, a Master’s in Applied Plant Sciences, and a Bachelor’s in Genetics, Cell Biology, and Development, all from the University of Minnesota.
