John Forstmeier

John Forstmeier has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2014. John began their career as a Market Intelligence Analyst at Susquehanna International Group, LLP (SIG). In 2018, they moved to Black Knight as a Software Engineer. In 2019, they joined CRFT as a Backend Engineer. In 2020, they began working at Shipyard as a Full Stack Engineer, and was promoted to Senior Full Stack Engineer the same year. In 2022, they founded Automated Capital.

John Forstmeier obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Penn State University between 2010 and 2014. In 2014, they obtained a Series 63 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), followed by a Series 7 certification from FINRA in September of the same year. In 2019, they obtained an AWS Certified Developer Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in January, followed by an AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate certification in February.
