Kevin Brenner

Kevin Brenner is a Mechanical Engineer II at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, where involvement in the Center for Bionic Medicine includes the design of mechanical, electrical, and software systems for prosthetic devices since April 2019. Previous experience includes a Mechanical Engineering Intern role at Dishcraft Robotics, focusing on kitchen robot assembly and prototyping, and a Research Intern position at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, where Kevin designed a test bench for robotic knee prostheses. Early career experiences also include manufacturing and technical operations internships at The Kraft Heinz Company and Hospira, respectively. Kevin holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
