Akshita Arora

Akshita Arora is a dedicated Special Educator with extensive experience in the field of special education. Currently employed at Shiv Nadar School since April 2023, Akshita previously worked at Sanskriti School from February 2022 to March 2023 and served as a Special Education Teacher at Amity International School for a brief period in January 2020. Prior experience includes training as a Special Education Trainee at Blind People's Association in September 2019 and as an intern at the National Association For the Blind, where responsibilities included teaching blind students and developing educational materials for children with multiple disabilities. Akshita also contributed as a Special Educator at Holy Heart Special School in July 2017. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Special Education (Specific Learning Disability) from Amity University, an Integrated B.Com B.Ed in Special Education from the same institution, and ongoing studies towards a Master's in Arts in Psychology at Indira Gandhi National Open University.
