Varuna Nagpal (PhD) has extensive experience in the field of education and teaching. Varuna began their career as an Assistant Professor at Chaudhary Charan Singh University in 2009. Following this, they worked as an Assistant Professor at Lady Irwin College, where they taught undergraduates and co-guided thesis projects. During their time at Delhi University, Lady Irwin College, they also pursued their doctoral studies from 2011 to 2016. In 2017, Nagpal started freelancing as a research and content writer. Varuna then joined Shiv Nadar School as an Educator, later taking on the role of Year Lead. Varuna'scurrent position at Shiv Nadar School is Teaching and Learning Lead, where they design and implements continuous development programs for educators, focusing on teaching, learning, and wellbeing practices.
Varuna Nagpal received their Bachelor's Degree in Home Science from Delhi University in 2007. Varuna then pursued a Master's Degree in Home Science from Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University from 2007 to 2009. In 2011, they enrolled at the University of Delhi to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Human development and childhood studies, which they completed in 2016. Additionally, in 2013 to 2014, they participated in a certificate course on Gender and society at the Women's Studies and Development Centre (WSDC).
