Shawn Sinbela

Shawn Sinbela is a Senior Design Engineer at SHL Group, with extensive experience in the design and development of orthopedic implants and surgical instruments. Previous roles include Product Development Engineer at Stryker, where significant contributions were made to implant designs and 510k submissions for a novel knee implant, as well as the execution of verification testing in an FDA-regulated environment. Shawn also held an Implant Development Intern position at MAKO Surgical Corp. and worked as a Student Athlete Tutor/Mentor at the University of Miami, assisting athletes in academic subjects. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Miami and an Associate of Arts in Biochemistry from Broward College.
