Michael K. Foget Pe

Michael K. Foget, PE has a comprehensive background in engineering and environmental services. Michael K. began their career at Woodward Clyde Consultants in 1985 as a Staff Engineer, where they worked until 1990. Michael K. then joined ESE (now part of Mactech) as a Staff Engineer from 1992 to 1994. Foget later worked at MWH, now part of Stantec, as a Staff Engineer from 1994 to 1995. In 1995, they joined SHN Engineers & Geologists, Inc. and held various roles, including Senior Environmental Engineer from 1995 to 2005 and Environmental Services Director from 2005 to 2012. Most recently, Foget served as the Principal of Civil Engineering since 2012 and became the Principal CEO in 2019 at SHN Engineers & Geologists, Inc.

Michael K. Foget, PE, earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Resources Engineering from Humboldt State University, where they studied from 1981 to 1986. Michael K. then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Environmental Engineering at Washington State University from 1990 to 1992. In addition to their academic qualifications, Michael has obtained several professional certifications. Michael K. is a Professional Civil Engineer registered with both the Oregon State Board of Examiners for Engineering and Land Surveying and the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists. Furthermore, they are a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional certified by the Green Building Commissioning Certification Institute. Michael is also recognized as a Qualified Industrial Stormwater Practitioner Trainer of Record by the California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA).
