Doug Atkison

Doug Atkison has extensive experience in the electric utility industry, currently serving as Substation Foreman and Lead Substation Mechanic at Sho-Me Power Electric Cooperative since July 2010. Prior to this role, Doug Atkison worked at the same cooperative from July 2000 to May 2010, progressing through various titles including Journeyman Substation Mechanic and Apprentice Substation Mechanic. Doug Atkison’s career began at The Empire District Electric Company as a Journeyman Lineman from April 1994 to July 2000, following positions as a Journeyman Lineman at B&L Electric Company Inc. and Southern Construction Company. Additionally, Doug Atkison worked as a Journeyman Lineman for the City of Ava Mo Municipal from June 1991 to June 1993.
