Monica Lewis Johnson has a diverse background in the legal field. Monica Lewis began their career as an Associate at Wiggin and Dana LLP, where they gained valuable experience before moving on to H&R Block as a Staff Counsel. At H&R Block, Monica served as an assistance compliance officer, handling various legal matters including securities law compliance, corporate finance, and franchisee lending programs. Monica Lewis then joined Springs Global US, Inc. as an Associate Corporate Counsel, where they provided legal advice on various topics such as intellectual property, employment law, and real estate leasing. Monica continued their legal career at Burger King Corporation as a Director and Senior Attorney, serving as legal counsel to multiple business functions and managing the global legal budget. Currently, Monica holds the position of Vice President and General Counsel at Shoes For Crews, LLC, where they lead and manages all legal matters on a global scale.

Monica Lewis Johnson began their education at Greenville High School from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained an Advanced Diploma. Monica Lewis then pursued their undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University from 1991 to 1995, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Following their undergraduate studies, Monica attended Cornell Law School from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law.
