Douglas Acosta

Douglas Acosta has worked in various roles in the software engineering industry since 2018. In 2021, they began working at Shokworks, Inc. as a Backend Developer. In this role, they architected a new version of payment and use of refunds for users, designed and developed the restructuring of management and payment of invoices using APIs from SquareUp and Primer, and designed the change of structure of the collections of a database in Firebase. In 2020, they worked at Hellosabi as a Backend Lead Developer, where they designed and developed an asynchronous ETL system made in Python and reorganized the database and optimized backend systems in user applications and products. In 2019, they worked as a Freelance Software Engineer and Project Manager | Freelance at Pide tu Chuche, a Software Developer Intern at Merak Engineers, and completed Community Service at ALESCO Fundation. In 2018, they worked as a Software Developer at YEiPii, where they analyzed requirements and designed, developed, and implemented software applications for company apps and websites, collaborated with developers and performance engineers, and interfaced with front-end and back-end development teams.

Douglas Acosta has a Licenciatura in Ingeniería informática from UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, which they obtained between 2015 and 2021.
