Emily Shack Wickard

Emily Shack Wickard is the founder of Shop Avara, established in 2017, which specializes in curating distinct women's clothing and accessories. Before this, Emily accumulated extensive experience at Flowserve Corporation from September 2005 to December 2016, serving as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis, where responsibilities included leading global operational improvements, managing a business analytics team, overseeing significant change management efforts, and driving financial visibility for the executive team. Prior positions at Flowserve included Director of Financial Planning Analysis and Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis in the Valve Division. Early in Emily's career, roles included Controller and Finance Manager at i2 Technologies from 1998 to 2005. Emily earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from the University of Richmond between 1993 and 1997.
