Jia Yi Gan

Jia Yi Gan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jia Yi began their career as a Temporary Administrative Assistant at Aspial Corporation Limited in 2015. They then interned as a Data Analyst at ST Aerospace in 2017. In 2019, Jia Yi joined Singtel as a Software Engineer and subsequently became a Cloud Solutions Architect as part of the Management Associate program. Jia Yi joined ShopBack in 2021 and has assumed the position of Software Engineer, progressing to the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Jia Yi Gan completed their education at various institutions and obtained several certifications. From 2015 to 2019, they attended the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Information Systems Technology and Design. During the same period, they also studied at the Singapore Management University and earned a Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) degree.

Prior to university, Jia Yi Gan attended Dunman High School from 2009 to 2014. Jia Yi completed the Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level program, specializing in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Geography.

Additionally, Jia Yi Gan has obtained various certifications. In June 2021, they received the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In April 2021, they obtained the Infrastructure & Application Development on GCP certification from Qwiklabs, and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification from Microsoft. In February 2021, they earned the Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certification. Furthermore, in August 2020, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification, and in July 2020, they achieved the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification, both from Microsoft and Amazon Web Services (AWS) respectively.
