Yew Jin Cheong

Yew Jin Cheong has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Yew Jin began their career as an Audit Manager at EY in 2009 and held this position until 2014. Yew Jin then joined NXP Semiconductors as a Finance Compliance Manager, where they were responsible for tax-related matters, quarterly reporting, and stock-take activities. In 2015, Yew Jin Cheong transitioned to Lazada Express Malaysia Sdn Bhd as a Finance Manager, overseeing start-up preparations and various financial operations. Yew Jin joined ShopBack in 2017 and held two roles during their tenure. As a Finance Business Partner, they set up the finance team for Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. In their subsequent role as Senior Finance Manager, Yew Jin Cheong managed a team and handled finance functions for multiple countries while streamlining processes and providing cashflow forecasts.

From 2007 to 2009, Yew Jin Cheong attended Sunway College and pursued a degree in Accounting & Finance under the ACCA program.
