Brian Palmund

Brian Palmund has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Brian is currently working as a Product Owner Lead at Shopbox since 2022. Previously, they worked at VOCAST ApS as a Udviklingschef (Development Manager) from 2014 to 2022, where they were responsible for developing and managing media database and brand sharing platform.

Before that, Brian was involved in politics, serving as Gruppeformand for Venstre i Albertslund (Group Leader for the Venstre party in Albertslund) and Borgmesterkandidat for Venstre i Albertslund (Mayoral Candidate for Venstre in Albertslund) from 2010 to 2019 at Albertslund Kommune.

Brian also has experience in project management and enterprise architecture. Brian worked as a Projektleder (Project Manager)/Enterprise Arkitekt (Enterprise Architect)/Forretningsspecialist (Business Specialist) at Direktoratet for Kriminalforsorgen (Directorate for Correctional Services) from 2009 to 2014, where they led IT projects and bridged the gap between business and suppliers.

Additionally, they have held positions such as Bestyrelsesmedlem (Board Member) at Vestegnens Brandvæsen I/S and CEO/Partner at Resulture. Brian has also worked as an Analytiker (Analyst) and IT arkitekt (IT Architect) in various consulting roles.

Brian started their career as a Senior Systems Developer at Framfab and Guide Consult in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Brian Palmund attended Lyngby Uddannelses Center from 1991 to 1993, where they studied as an Informatik Assistent. Brian later returned to the same institution from 1991 to 1995 to further their studies as a Datamatiker. Finally, from 1993 to 1996, Brian pursued a degree in Datamatiker at Lyngby Uddannelses Center.
