Alaz Sengul

Alaz Sengul is the Co-Founder and CTO of Garage, a company focused on modernizing the buying and selling of used equipment, which is backed by Y Combinator since November 2023. Prior to this, Alaz held the position of Software Engineer II at Mem and worked with Twitter in various roles, contributing to the Ads Callback team by designing and developing distributed stream processing pipelines. Alaz co-founded Scramble and completed internships at Honey (PayPal), The National Institutes of Health, Coding it Forward, and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University and participation in Y Combinator's program. Alaz's foundational education was completed at Gulliver Preparatory School.
