Betty Li

Betty Li is a seasoned Senior Frontend Developer at Shopify since September 2016, with a versatile background that includes roles as Front End Developer and Code Bootcamp Program Manager & Trainer. As Director of the Toronto Chapter of Women Who Code since April 2015, Betty actively promotes inclusion in tech. Additional experience as Lead Instructor for Front End Development at Bitmaker General Assembly began in May 2014, where notable courses include Rapid Prototyping and AngularJS. Prior to these roles, Betty worked as a Junior Web Developer at Think Research and held positions at The Weather Network and Bell Media. Academic qualifications include a Web Development degree from General Assembly Canada, a Bachelor of Arts in Media Theory & Production from Western University, and a Diploma in Television Broadcast from Fanshawe College.
