Giulia Greco

Giulia Greco is a seasoned localization professional with extensive experience in managing localization teams and processes at Shopify since September 2016. As the Head of Localization, Giulia sets the vision and strategic direction for the department, driving growth and enhancing Shopify's presence in non-English-speaking markets. Previous roles at Shopify include Localization Programs Lead and Localization Program Manager, where Giulia oversaw marketing localization operations and managed diverse localization projects. Giulia co-founded the Eastern Canada chapter of Women in Localization in 2019 and has a strong freelance background in interpretation and translation, including notable projects such as translating for the CBC Olympics and providing interpretation during major events. Giulia holds a Bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpretation and a Conference Interpreter Diploma from Scuola Sup. per Interpreti e Traduttori S. Pellico, Milan, Italy.
