Oren Gur-Arie

Oren Gur-Arie is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in site reliability and embedded systems engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Shopify since November 2023, Oren previously held a Staff SRE position at Google and worked as a Production Engineer at Facebook. Oren's career also includes leadership roles such as VP Engineering at Maxeler Technologies, where responsibilities encompassed product definition and management for solutions across various industries, and as a Network Team Lead overseeing ultra-low latency exchange and cybersecurity projects. Oren's technical expertise extends to architecture and real-time embedded software, with prior roles at Marvell Semiconductor, QLogic, Broadcom, and Intel. Oren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Technion and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
