Sebastian Speier

Sebastian Speier is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various renowned companies. Currently serving as a Senior Design Manager at Shopify since August 2020, Sebastian has previously held key positions at Airbnb and Instagram, including Design Manager and Product Design Lead, respectively. In addition, Sebastian contributed to education as an Adjunct Professor at Parsons School of Design from January 2020 to January 2022. Prior design leadership experience includes Global Design Director at Nike and Creative Lead at Google Creative Lab. Sebastian's career began with roles in art direction and interaction design, demonstrating a strong foundation in design and computation arts, supported by a BFA Hon. from Concordia University.
