Oluwakunle Fakorede

Oluwakunle Fakorede has been working in the software engineering field since 2014. Oluwakunle began their career at OSOPADEC as a Software Developer. In 2017, they moved to hoverGENIE as a Frontend Developer, where they helped clients reach desired goals with a result-oriented approach to software development and supported an agile development team to build professional user interfaces. In 2018, they joined Andela as a Software Engineer, where they worked with several teams building enterprise-grade applications with high performance and scalability. In 2019, they moved to quip. as a Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails), where they helped the CX (customer experience) agents build a new framework and developed a software system. In 2020, they joined Major as a Lead Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails), where they technically led the complete redesign of the application, external API integrations, and optimization for subdomain capabilities. Oluwakunle established an agile development process and wrote tests for both existing and new features. In 2021, they began working at Mr. Draper as a Senior Software Engineer.

Oluwakunle Fakorede attended the Federal University of Technology Akure from 2010 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
