Mani M

Mani M has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps and software engineering. In their most recent role at Shoptrue as a Senior DevOps Engineer, Mani works on Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud, focusing on maintaining and managing Kubernetes clusters, Infrastructure As Code, and GitLab CI/CD. Prior to that, at Emgage Inc, Mani was responsible for heading the DevOps team and building and managing Kubernetes clusters both on-prem and in the cloud. They also optimized cloud costs through appropriate recommendations. Earlier in their career, at Cogknit Semantics Pvt. Ltd., Mani served as a DevOps Engineer, where they improved microservice architecture, utilized Kubernetes for workload management, and implemented Full CD/CI for building and deploying Kubernetes clusters on Google Cloud and digital ocean. Mani also worked as a Senior Product Engineer, handling production and staging systems for multiple clients, introducing Ansible for configuration management, and transforming monolithic architecture into a microservice. In addition, as a Data Engineer, Mani developed REST APIs using Java, ServiceMix, Alfresco, and MySQL, and successfully deployed products on Windows servers. In the initial phase of their career, Mani worked as a Software Engineer at icecreamlabs, where they used Python, Scrapy, Django, and MongoDB to crawl and process data for AI model training.

Mani M completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information Technology from DR.N.G.P Institute of Technology between 2012 and 2016. Additionally, Mani M obtained several certifications, including the Linux Academy Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) Certificate of Completion from Linux Academy in November 2019, the Linux Academy Docker Certified Associate (DCA) Certificate of Completion from Linux Academy in August 2019, and the EMC Academic Associate, Cloud Infrastructure and Services from EMC in August 2015.
