Roddy Davidson

Roddy Davidson has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Roddy is currently working at Shore Capital Markets since 2015, where they hold the roles of Head of Research, Equity Analyst, and Media & Digital Analyst. Prior to their current position, Roddy served as Deputy Head of Research and Media Analyst at Shore Capital Markets, starting in 2015. Roddy also worked at St Columba's School, Kilmacolm as a Governor since 2018. Roddy previously held the position of Director, Media at Westhouse Securities from 2012 to 2015. Before that, they worked as a Media Analyst at Altium Securities from 2004 to 2011. Roddy has experience as an Investment Manager at Ignis Asset Management from 1997 to 2004 and Scottish Amicable Investment Managers from 1996 to 1997. Roddy started their career as a Fund Manager at Murray Johnstone from 1993 to 1996, and prior to that, they worked as an Investment Analyst at Confederation Life from 1990 to 1993.

Roddy Davidson completed their education at the University of Glasgow, earning an MA Hons in Economics/Management Studies from 1986 to 1990. Roddy later pursued their MBA from Srathclyde Graduate Business School from 1997 to 2000. Additionally, Roddy has obtained various certifications such as being rated as the #2 Media earnings estimator in the UK & Ireland in 2020 by StarMine and consistently ranking highly in media research in the UK according to the Extel survey.
