Edward Pol

Sr Developer at Shore Excursions Group

Edward Pol has worked in the software development industry since 1990. Edward started their career at CLIENTELE, INC. as an Applications Developer, where they built applications to help achieve sales goals and make each department more effective. Edward also designed and implemented a Multi-Level Marketing module to calculate the commission for 10,000 distributors along with reporting tools, saving the company hundreds of thousands in software purchases. Additionally, they reduced payroll calculation time by designing commission reports.

In 2017, Edward moved to Rex Three Inc. (Rex 3) as a Software Developer. Here, they reduced print prep time by automating the organization of pages in layout, added a button to Salesforce to print Limited Collectables using their API's, and created an intranet site for employees in the shipping department.

In 2018, Edward joined MDR® (Medical Doctors Research) as a PHP Developer. Edward saved the company $5,000 by writing a custom shopping cart to process credit card transactions, reduced payroll processing time by 50% by writing a PHP Timeclock utility and web-based commission calculation module that interfaces with an existing CRM package, and removed the IT department from generating reports by building an intranet site that allows employees to generate customized reports with up-to-the-minute information.

In 2019, Edward began working at Insurance Care Direct as a PHP Developer, and also at Shore Excursions Group as a Senior Developer. At Shore Excursions Group, they reduced customer fees for foreign currency orders by using the Braintree API, created a utility that takes leads from FTP sites to format for processing, and automated agent notifications of the order approval process.
