Matt Bentley has extensive experience in the education sector, holding various teaching and leadership roles since 1998. Matt'smost recent positions include Head of Teaching and Learning at SHORE, Head of Teaching and Learning (P-12) at Redlands, and Director of Professional Learning at NSW Education Standards Authority. Prior to these roles, they have held positions at institutions such as Knox Grammar School, St Joseph's College, SHORE School, and St Leo's Catholic College, showcasing their expertise in teaching, professional development, and educational leadership.

Matt Bentley completed their Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Social Sciences at the University of Newcastle from 1988 to 1994.
