P A Oates is the current Director of Business & Clerk of the Council at SHORE. P A Oates has also previously worked as the Director of Business and Operations at The Scots College from February 2017 to January 2022, Business Manager at SOUTH COAST BAPTIST COLLEGE INCORPORATED from January 2015 to December 2017, and as the Business Manager at Carey Baptist College from January 2002 to December 2014. P A Oates began their professional career as a Corporate Finance Manager at Deloitte from January 1993 to December 2002.

P A Oates graduated from The University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Finance.

P A Oates reports to TImothy A. Petterson, Headmaster. P A Oates works with D L Anderson - Director of Boarding, L K Gilmour - Deputy Head, Co-Curricular, and A N Mansfield - Deputy Head of Operations.
