Myra Simpson

Myronee Simpson currently serves as a Board Director for the National Association for College Admission Counseling since September 2023 and holds the position of Director of College Counseling at Shorecrest Preparatory School since July 2022. Previously, Myronee directed college counseling at Oak Hall School from July 2016 to June 2022, and co-directed college guidance at Ranney School from July 2005 to June 2016. Myronee also has experience as an Admissions Counselor at The College of New Jersey from October 1999 to June 2005, Fairfield University from July 1998 to May 1999, and the University of Mary Washington from August 1997 to May 1998. Myronee earned a Master of Arts in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from The College of New Jersey between 2002 and 2005, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Mary Washington from 1993 to 1997.
