Assistant Director Of Career Services at Shorelight

Brittany Chill has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Brittany is currently working as an ASPIRE Transition Coordinator at MVCTC since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Shorelight from 2019, holding multiple roles including Assistant Director of Career Services and Career Services Manager. At Shorelight, they also worked as an Instructor for Professional Development and Academic Skills, where they designed and implemented curriculum for Masters and first-year undergraduate international students. Brittany has also worked as a Course Instructor for Global Citizenship at the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2020. Additionally, they have experience as a Resident Director at the University of Georgia and as a Career Counselor at Carnegie Mellon University. Brittany has also served as a Technology Graduate Assistant at Slippery Rock University and an Academic Advising Summer Intern at Butler County Community College. Brittany has been actively involved in various committees and volunteer programs during their time at Slippery Rock University.

Brittany Chill completed their education at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Thiel College from 2004 to 2008 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Their major subjects during their undergraduate studies were Business Administration, Philosophy, and Religion. Brittany graduated from Kennedy Catholic High School in 2004 with a Diploma.

In terms of additional certifications, Brittany obtained a QPR Gatekeeper Trainer certification from the QPR Institute in April 2023. Brittany also holds an Adult Education Permit issued by the Ohio Department of Education, obtained in January 2023. Brittany participated in the Human Resources Program offered by GE in October 2021. Additionally, Brittany has obtained various other certifications, such as Active Shooter Response from the University of Georgia Office of Emergency Preparedness in December 2015, Incident Command System from FEMA in November 2015, and SafeZone from Carnegie Mellon University in November 2014.
