Chelsea Olson has a diverse work experience in the field of education and global management. Chelsea has held various roles in different organizations throughout their career.

In 1999, they worked as a Producer at Caliber Learning Network for a year.

From 2001 to 2011, they were a Senior Director at Thunderbird School of Global Management, where they served as the corporate secretary to the Board of Trustees. Chelsea also played a key role in the negotiation and approval of the merger between Thunderbird and Arizona State University. Additionally, they led strategic initiatives and was responsible for institutional projects.

From 2001 to 2005, Chelsea worked as a Consultant/Contractor at ITESM.

In 2015, they joined Arizona State University as the Executive Director of the Thunderbird Office of the CEO. In this role, they provided key business, strategy, and operational support to the Thunderbird CEO & Director General. Chelsea also led strategic projects, designed new initiatives, and managed school-wide events and information technology services. Chelsea held this position until August 2018.

Finally, in 2019, Chelsea became the Vice President of Graduate Studies at Shorelight Education. Here, they reinvented the international education experience for both students and universities, in partnership with leading U.S. institutions.

After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at Arizona State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from 1995 to 1999. During their undergraduate studies, they also minored in Spanish and Business.

Continuing their education, Chelsea attended The University of British Columbia from 2005 to 2008. Here, they focused on education, technology, and distance learning and graduated with a Master of Educational Technology degree. Additionally, during the same period, they studied at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they pursued a Maestría en Tecnología Educativa, strengthening their expertise in the field.

Later, from 2011 to 2013, Chelsea attended the Thunderbird School of Global Management. During this time, they pursued an MBA in Global Management, further enhancing their knowledge and skills related to global business.
