Samantha Abruzzi

Samantha Abruzzi has a diverse work experience in the field of international education and admissions. Samantha is currently working as the Executive Director, Regional Partner Operations, East at Shorelight since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Shorelight as the Managing Director of American Collegiate Live from October 2020 to December 2022. Samantha also held the position of Assistant Managing Director at Adelphi University International from December 2018 to October 2020. Before that, they worked as the Director of Admissions at Adelphi University International from October 2017 to December 2018, and as the Associate Director of Admissions from May 2016 to October 2017.

Prior to their roles at Adelphi University, Samantha was the Associate Director of International Admissions at LIU Post from March 2015 to April 2016. Samantha also worked as an International Graduate Recruiter at Stevens Institute of Technology from April 2014 to March 2015. Samantha started their career as a Peace Corps Volunteer from August 2009 to August 2011. Samantha also gained experience as an International Scholar Coordinator at New York University Office of Global Services from July 2012 to March 2014.

Samantha Abruzzi obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from SUNY New Paltz between 2005 and 2009. Samantha then pursued a Master's degree in International Education at New York University from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, in May 2009, Samantha obtained the New York State Initial Teaching Certification from New York State.
