Pooja Sonavane, Ph.D., currently serves as Scientist II at Shoreline Biosciences, Inc., having transitioned from Scientist I within the same organization since October 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Scientist at Brooklyn ImmunoTherapeutics from June 2022 to September 2022, and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California, San Diego - School of Medicine from August 2018 to May 2022, focusing on Wnt/Fzd signaling and chromosome instability in oncogenesis. Pooja Sonavane obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Cell Biology from the University of Virginia, where research centered on signal transduction in morphogenesis during early gastrulation in Xenopus laevis. Additionally, a Master of Science in Biotechnology was earned from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Prior to the Ph.D. program, Pooja Sonavane worked as a Research Assistant at Agharkar Research Institute in Pune, India.
