Alin Burlacu

Alin Burlacu has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Alin is currently the Site Lead & Engineering Director at Shoreline.io since November 2021. Prior to this, they had a significant tenure at Mambu from 2016 to 2021. At Mambu, they served as the Head of Investments & Technical Program Manager, responsible for establishing a new technical dimension for the organization and handling the coordination and delivery of multiple technical projects for a major client. Alin also served as the Head of Banking Engine, overseeing the vision and direction of the Banking Engine tribe and ensuring goals alignment and transparency. Before these roles, Alin Burlacu worked as a Developers Group Lead, Lead Technical Consultant, and held various technical positions at Mambu.

Before joining Mambu, they worked at Endava from 2011 to 2016, where they held the positions of Development Discipline Lead, Line Manager, Development Lead, and Java Developer. In these roles, they played a key role in building and growing an insurance business domain account and leading development teams.

Alin Burlacu started their educational journey in 2006 at Universitatea "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" din Iași, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Alin successfully completed this program in 2009. Following their undergraduate studies, Alin continued their academic pursuits at the same institution and enrolled in the Master of Computational Linguistics program. Alin studied from 2009 to 2011 and obtained their Master of Science degree in Computational Linguistics.
