Leisel B. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology, cybersecurity, and public policy. Currently serving as a Research Fellow at the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School and as a Board Member for the Emerging Technology Advisory Committee at the Idaho Department of Finance, Leisel also holds the position of Director and Senior Advisor at TechCongress. Previous roles include Senior Technical Advisor at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, and Research Fellow at Harvard's Belfer Center’s Technology and Public Purpose Project. Leisel has also contributed to the U.S. House of Representatives as Director of the Congressional Digital Service Pilot and served as a Senior Fellow for Cybersecurity in the United States Senate. Past experience includes leading Global Strategy for Cybersecurity and Risk at PwC and being a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations. Leisel's academic background includes a Master of Public Policy from Pepperdine University and studies at the University of San Francisco School of Law.
