Martin Rooke

Martin Rooke has had a diverse work experience. Martin is currently a Research Fellow at the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Kent from September 2016 to April 2022. Martin also served as a PHD Scholar at The British Library during the same period. Before their academic pursuits, Martin worked as a Recorded Content Specialist at BPP from 2014 to 2016. Martin started their professional journey as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Middlesex University from September 2012 to October 2014.

Martin Rooke has a strong education background in various fields. Martin began their academic journey in 2009 at Middlesex University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science in 2012. Building upon this foundation, they pursued further studies at Middlesex University and completed a Master's Degree in Professional Practice in Research Methods from 2013 to 2014. Continuing their pursuit of knowledge, Martin enrolled at the University of Kent in 2016, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies in 2020.
